Anomaly.2010. This painting I’ve been meaning to finish for a while, I’m working on the paint detail around the iridescent print, trying to give it convincing surface. Using a masonry paint to give a matt effect. I decided to not use oils as it leeches into the print and destroys it, so hopefully after a few more layers of paint detail it will be done.

Work in progress - I’m currently refining this work. I’m was thinking about virus’s and cancers and the fears we have around malignancies in the body. I’m very much interested in sciences use of beautification in imagery, and I’m continually responding to that in my work

My work is currently focusing on beauty found through deficit and failure, this photograph looks at auras of vision.
